Özden Özkanoğlu
Dr. Özkanoglu is an international educator living in Houston, Texas. She is a play advocate who believes that young children reach their best potential through developmentally appropriate play experiences inside and outside.
She grew up playing with her sisters and friends all day and still enjoys discovering new games with her students and her own kids.
As a teacher and teacher trainer, Dr. Özkanoglu has traveled all around the world, visited schools, and worked with amazing teachers who share the same passion for creating a nurturing environment in which children can flourish. She is a nature lover who spends most of her time in the woods with her family observing trees, chasing butterflies, and watching birds.
Yusuf Tansu Özel
Mr. Özel studied graphics and worked in this field for many years. One day, he decided to follow his dreams and went on a long trip with his family. He saw new places every day and made visual stories of the places he visited. The more he drew, the more he realized how much he loved illustration and painting. After he returned home, he decided to paint for children.
He lives in İstanbul, Turkey, with his wife, son, and daughter. Besides illustrating books, he facilitates creative workshops for children to share his passion for illustration.
